The Wild Goose

The setting sun burns the skyline,
Golden leaves sparkle and shine.
A wild goose cries loudly in the wind,
Calling her friends as she’s left behind.

Her voice is so shrill and so high,
Resounding through the autumn sky.

All her friends have flown away,
So lonely she strives to find her way.
Come on, wild goose, keep soaring far,
Don't you know how brave you are?

The wild goose flaps wings to rise high,
Silhouetted by the red sunset in the sky.
