Singing happily and soaring high,
You flap wings freely in the sky.
Far in the blue, above the ocean tide,
Where on earth will you fly?

Waiting mum in the twilight,
Evening rain is misty and light.
The fig tree stands by the window,
It's leaves whisper as winds blow.

A man gets off the bus and goes ahead,
With a green painting easel on his back.
Winds are blowing dust and sand,
And his hair stands up on end.

The setting sun burns the skyline,
Golden leaves sparkle and shine.
A wild goose cries loudly in the wind,
Calling her friends as she’s left behind.

Snow falls on an old sloping roof
The chimney smokes and stands aloof
Snow, melts into tears at the rooftop
Dripping down the eaves drop by drop
